Getting Help With Your Forclosure Procedure
February 28th, 2009
Working with your bank and working on knowing what they want and ask from you might be the most difficult part of your forclosure procedure. Finding a person at your mortgage company who is ready, happy and capable to assist you can prove to be difficult at times. When I was working with my mortgage companies, getting a person who could really assist me was part of the battle at times. They were normally nice but frequently rather unhelpful.
So what is the trick? How do you get somebody to actually aid you? I can only state for you what went well for me and that was: be determined. At times annoyingly so. Call them over and over again. When they do not pick up (which they might not), leave a nice but determined message letting them know that you require a call back. Do that daily until you actually get a person to call you. Be civil but firm in your conversations with them. Let them know precisely what you require from them and be sure that you fully understand anything they want from you.
