My Smooth Lasik Surgery Experience
March 11th, 2010
My surgery took place four days after my initial lasik consultation. I was a bit nervous so the doctor offered me Valium before they started. After the procedure, they gave me Nyquil to put me to sleep. The surgeons not only possess plenty of experience in carrying out refractive surgeries, they are also very sociable. My doctor spared time for us in answering our questions before the start of the San Diego lasik. While the procedure was going on, he did a wonderful job in making me feel comfortable. When the procedure was done, the very nice staff let me take a rest in their room in the back. While I was waiting for my wife to pick me up from the Center, they gave me water. Most people claim that 60 minutes after the surgery, they could already drive. This is farfetched because it takes some time for your eyes to get adjusted to the brightness outside. When you look directly into the sun, you’ll feel a stinging sensation in your eyes. Initially, my eyesight wasn’t terribly bad. However, based on the last vision test at the San Diego Lasik clinic, I now have 15/20 vision.
Other than the initial eye redness and nighttime halos, I had a fast recovery without any trouble. Within three weeks, my eyes became perfect. The years of having really poor vision will just be a long gone thought. Without a doubt worth the Lasik surgery San Diego prices.
