I play a lot of World of Warcraft and read a lot of forums. I’ve noticed over the last few months, Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide has become all the rave. I’ve leveled plenty of characters and wanted to know what all the fuss was about.

I went to his site and picked up my copy of Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide. On his site he shows how he’s hit 60 in just 4 days and 20 hours. Along with the guide, you get a video copy of the entire 4 day 20 hour run, which is pretty neat. I was a little upset about paying for a guide, but I bit the bullet.

After opening it up, I was actually pleasantly surprised with what I found. It was very straight forward and to the point. It is setup with a numbered list of things to do on the left side of the page and a matching map on the right side with the numbers on it. That makes it really easy to know where, exactly, you need to go.

Joanas Horde Leveling Guide details exactly what quests to pick up, where to go, what to kill, and when to turn the quests in. It’s actually quite amazing how smoothly you flow from one area to another. Sometimes you have 4 or 5 quests ready to turn in all done in one smooth run.

Joana does have a couple advantages that we don’t, however. First off, Joana guide tends to make these leveling runs on new servers. Because he quickly outlevels everybody else, he has no competition for mobs and no PvP disruptions.

On the flip side we have some advantages that Joana doesn’t. We have the option of twinking. That can help out a lot. Also, Joana tends to play 12 hours a day. Most of us won’t. That means we spend more time with rested exp.

The Verdict

I have to say, I was skeptical at first. After reading and using the guide, I give it two thumbs up. Hurry up and grab your copy of Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide. You’re just wasting time following any other guide.
