There are many different reasons to install a fence around your garden. Garden fencing can truly reinforce the beauty of your garden whether you select a six or 12 inch high border or a standard post and rail fence. When shopping for ornamental garden fencing it is sensible to perform a little research into all your options so you can choose the fence that will best meet your needs.
One extremely decorative option is a wood lattice fence. This will give you an amount of privacy while still permitting you to look into your garden. You may employ a single screen of lattice fencing to make a windbreak, privacy screen, or give support to a climbing plant. A lattice fence panel can also be placed near your home to provide a privacy screen to your bedroom or kitchen window. If you train roses or morning glories to climb the fence panel you will also have a wonderful view out your window.
Another great option for decorative garden fencing is border edging. You can use this edging to enclose the perimeter of the garden area, making smaller area within your garden plot, or give definition to a corner or end of your garden. There are lots of different materials that may be used for border edging including forged iron, cedar shakes, and redwood blocks. You can use these materials to create curved or zigzag borders for a decorative look and feel. Consider planting little marigolds or zinnias in the V shaped parts of the zigzag for a special look.
Use can use ornamental garden fencing to form an attractive backdrop for your terrace area. A metal trellis section of fence can be employed to coach roses and help to outline the space. This gives you a beautiful transition point from the patio to the garden.
